Multiple myeloma · Caregiver support

Standing beside
those who care.

A cancer diagnosis changes life for an entire family. We are building practical support for the caregivers who carry the appointments, the everyday needs, and the journey.

Our mission

The caregiver deserves care, too.

Our foundation’s first focus is the people caring for loved ones with multiple myeloma. We aim to ease the practical strain so families have more room for rest, connection, and care.

01 / REST

Respite & relief

Developing ways to help caregivers take a short break, recharge, and attend to their own needs.

02 / EVERYDAY NEEDS

Practical assistance

Planning support for transportation, meals, essential household needs, and urgent caregiver expenses.

03 / CONNECTION

Resources & guidance

Building education and resource coordination to help families navigate the caregiving journey.

These programs are in development. Applications and assistance are not yet open.

A family’s purpose

From lived experience
to a lasting mission.

After living with multiple myeloma for more than a decade, Alan Reeves founded the foundation with his family to support the people who walk beside patients.

Caregivers manage travel, appointments, meals, and household responsibilities—often while carrying financial strain and putting their own rest aside. Our work begins with those everyday needs.

The patient has a medical team. The caregiver deserves a support team.

Shared journeys

Your experience
can help someone
feel less alone.

For caregivers, patients, and family members: a place to share the lived experience of multiple myeloma and caregiving.

There is no perfect story. A difficult moment, a small kindness, or something you wish you had known can matter to another family.

  • What has caregiving been like for you?
  • What helped during a challenging day?
  • What do you wish others understood?
  • What would you tell a family beginning this journey?

This is a space for personal experiences. Stories will be reviewed before any public sharing. Please leave out identifying details about others and information you want to keep private.

Share Your Journey

Share privately with the foundation. Your story will not appear publicly unless you give permission and it is reviewed.

20–6,000 characters. Please avoid medical records, contact information, and other people’s full names.

Leaving this unchecked means the story would be for the foundation to read privately.
